Sacramento CA, May 25, 2005 - For their outstanding service to independent eye doctors, VSP is proud to honor the Toledo Optical Lab, located in Toledo, OH with a 2005 national People First Award. This is the second year for the People First Award program for Contract Laboratories.

"Their service to the community is also commendable," continued Powell. "They provide materials to the Mildred Bayer Clinic for the Indigent and support vision programs for low-income families. Additionally, they contribute to Third World Country missions and are contributors to the Sight Center Board, American Diabetes Association and United Way."
